8 Oklahomans have died as a result of the flu in the last week according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. All of the 8 deaths in the last week were adults aged 50 or older. The latest deaths occurred in six counties including one in Blaine, bringing the number of deaths in that county to two. One flu death each has been reported in Washita and Beckham counties. There have been 18 hospitalizations in Custer county as a result of the flu, 11 in Blaine, 8 in Caddo, 5 in Washita, 4 in Dewey and one in Beckham county.
